History

MD furniture was established in 1994 with a team of 5 employees in a small workshop in Silistra, a town on the Danube River in Bulgaria. Our ambition to consistently exceed our clients' expectations and to focus on long-lasting relationships has led to the constant rise in demand for our products and services, increasing the size of our MD furniture family to 80 employees and production facilities to almost 90,000 sq ft in less than two decades.

Since 2013 the company has focused on producing high-quality custom-made furniture for the European Hospitality market including high-end luxury hotel collections. We additionally manufacture furniture for Student Dorms, Hospitals, Cafés, Restaurants, office buildings and have expanded our services into the US market.

We constantly invest in new environmentally responsible methods, equipment, materials, and training to meet the latest market requirements regarding shorter production times, design trends, outstanding quality, and uncompromising attention to detail using state-of-the-art as well as traditional woodworking techniques that still blend well with modern interiors.
